Making a Difference
At Grace Baptist Church, we strive to be a part of our local community and to make a positive impact in the world. We offer numerous opportunities for our church family to reach out, meet new people, and promote our church and its ministries. Made4Missions
Made4Missions is ministry dedicated to supporting missionaries through creativity and community involvement. Saturdays from May to October, you can find our booth at the Sidney Farmer’s Market, offering hundreds of handmade crafts and goods. All proceeds go directly to our missionaries doing crucial work on the mission field.
Shelby County Fair
Our booth at the Shelby County Fair is used both to promote our church and to share the Gospel with our community. We pass out tracts, invite newcomers to church, and promote our ministries, such as AWANA Bible Clubs, One Way Teens, and more. Come on out and visit our booth - we’d love to meet you!
Trunk or Treat
Our annual Trunk or Treat is a highlight of our outreach events. Each year, we decorate dozens of cars and host hundreds of trick-or-treaters to get free candy and to learn about our ministries. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community and to share the love to Christ in a fun and festive way.
Family Game Day
Family Game Day is a fun-filled Saturday event open to the public. Families are invited to bring their favorite board games and snacks to spend the day learning new games and enjoying friendly competition. This is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your family and to meet new friends. Invite a friend and join us for Family Game Days!
Man Camp
Hosted every October, Man Camp is a fun bonding experience for men of all ages. Attendees can enjoy a cookout, powerful messages from a guest speaker, and a myriad of hands-on sessions that put your manly skills to the test, such as knife throwing, archery, and mechanical demonstrations. Man Camp is the perfect way for men to gain lasting friendships and to grow together.
Ladies Fellowship
Our GBC ladies meet for all kinds of events throughout the year such as charcuterie board-making classes, shopping days, Christmas ornament exchanges, and more! If you’re looking for connection and you like to make friends, join any of our ladies fellowship events.
Thursdays at Tawawa
Thursdays at Tawawa is a summer ministry designed to bring moms with young kids together for fellowship, play, and learning. Held outdoors at Tawawa Park in Sidney, this weekly event offers a chance for kids to meet new friends, enjoy snacks, and hear a new Bible lesson every week.
Off the Hook Crochet Group
Off the Hook is a crochet group for ladies who love to knit, crochet, and more! Off the Hook meets bi-weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 PM. Whether you’re new to crocheting and want to learn, or you already have a passion for it, everyone is welcome!
